Major Ajaib Singh Convent School, Jeonwala celebrated National Youth Day with immense enthusiasm, patriotism, and youthful zeal under the visionary leadership of the school's esteemed Principal, Dr. Sukhchain Singh Brar. The occasion was marked by a wide array of educational, cultural, and social service activities dedicated to commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, whose teachings continue to inspire the youth of the nation.
The celebration was graced by the Honourable Speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Ruhi Dugg (IAS), Deputy Commissioner, Faridkot, and Mr. Raghbir Singh Mann, Assistant Director, Youth Affairs, attended as the distinguished Guests of Honour. Their inspiring addresses motivated students to embrace the ideals of discipline, self-confidence, service to society, and nation-building.
A variety of meaningful competitions and activities were organized to engage students in creative and intellectual pursuits. Students enthusiastically participated in Poster Making and Essay Writing competitions based on the life, philosophy, and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, showcasing their creativity, knowledge, and admiration for the great spiritual leader. A Blood Donation Camp was also organized to promote the noble values of compassion, humanity, and social responsibility among the school community.
